Aoxun vs AECOJOY Shed Specs
Footprint and Size
The Aoxun shed provides a wide 6x4 ft footprint, measuring 75 inches in width and 49 inches in length. This horizontal layout offers ample floor space for bulky items like lawnmowers or sports equipment. In contrast, the AECOJOY unit is a compact vertical cabinet with a 22x30 inch footprint. It stands 69.9 inches tall but occupies significantly less ground area. You should choose the Aoxun if you need wide storage for large gear. Pick the AECOJOY if your outdoor space is limited and you prefer a tall, narrow profile that fits against a wall or in a corner without taking up much yard real estate.
Material and Build
Both products utilize galvanized steel for weather resistance, but their construction details differ. The Aoxun is built from thick-gauge steel with reinforced panels and a strong frame, weighing 93 pounds. Its sloped roof is engineered to shed water and prevent pooling. The AECOJOY cabinet is also made of galvanized steel and weighs 150 pounds, suggesting a heavier, denser build for its smaller size. It features a base and is described as waterproof with moisture and fire resistance. While both are durable, the Aoxun emphasizes structural stability against wind and sun through its frame design. The AECOJOY focuses on a robust, solid feel with its substantial weight and included base.
Interior Organization
Interior setup varies significantly between the two models. The Aoxun shed offers a large, open interior volume with a height of 74 inches. It supports optional internal storage racks to maximize vertical space, allowing you to organize tools and items on the floor or on added shelves. The AECOJOY cabinet comes with three adjustable shelves as standard. These shelves can be repositioned to fit items of different heights, such as microwaves or lawn equipment, with each shelf supporting up to 70 pounds. If you prefer a flexible shelving system out of the box, the AECOJOY is superior. If you need open floor space for large items, the Aoxun is the better choice.
Door and Security
Access and security features are handled differently by each brand. The Aoxun shed includes a sturdy, lockable door that provides convenient access and essential security for valuables. This integrated locking mechanism helps protect your stored items from unauthorized access. The AECOJOY cabinet features magnetic closure doors for easy, one-handed access. It includes lock holes for added security, but note that a lock is not included. You will need to purchase a separate padlock for the AECOJOY. If you want immediate security with a built-in lock, the Aoxun is more ready-to-use. If you prefer quick magnetic access and do not mind buying a lock separately, the AECOJOY offers convenience.
Recommended Use
Each product is designed for specific storage needs. The Aoxun shed is recommended for storing shovels, rakes, bulky lawnmowers, children's toys, and sports equipment. Its large interior and sloped roof make it suitable for decluttering backyards or patios by housing various outdoor essentials. The AECOJOY cabinet is versatile for both indoor and outdoor use. It is ideal for storing outdoor tools, everyday essentials, or even heavier items like microwaves due to its strong load-bearing shelves. It is also suitable for trash can storage or general utility organization. Choose the Aoxun for large-scale outdoor gear and the AECOJOY for organized, vertical storage of smaller or medium-sized items.
