Who it fits

Key specs explained for this carport

Size: 10x15 ft

This footprint provides 150 square feet of covered area. You can park a standard truck or SUV with room to walk around. It also fits larger items like boats or trailers. If you need extra space for storage bins along the sides, this size works well. Compare this to smaller 10x10 models if you only have one car.

Height: 94.8 inches

The peak height is nearly eight feet. This allows most drivers to stand upright without bending over. It also clears taller vehicles like pickup trucks with caps or small RVs. If you have a van or truck with a roof rack, check its total height against this limit. Higher models offer more clearance for bulky loads.

Material: Galvanized steel frame

The frame uses rust-resistant galvanized steel pipes. This coating protects the metal from corrosion and bending in wet conditions. It adds structural integrity compared to untreated steel. You get better durability against rain and snow. When shopping, look for heavy-duty steel frames to ensure the shelter withstands wind and weather over time.

Vents: 4 openings

The design includes four ventilation openings to improve airflow. This helps reduce moisture buildup and condensation inside the shelter. It keeps the interior drier for stored items like furniture or tools. Good ventilation prevents musty smells and protects sensitive equipment. Compare this feature with solid-sided sheds if you prioritize air circulation over full enclosure.

Design and build details

The frame is constructed from heavy-duty galvanized steel. This material resists bending and corrosion. The listing specifies eight hot-dip galvanized steel pipes and eight foot plates. You also get iron straight nails and wind ropes. These components work together to stabilize the structure. You should anchor the carport firmly to handle wind loads. The design prioritizes rigidity for outdoor storage of vehicles or equipment.

The cover is made from upgraded thick fabric in dark grey. This material connects the sides and top to prevent rainwater accumulation. It resists tearing, fading, UV rays, and moisture. The industrial grade outer layer protects your items from weather damage. Four ventilation openings are included to enhance airflow. These vents reduce condensation and keep the interior cooler. This layout helps prevent moisture buildup during humid conditions.

Entry is managed by removable double-zipper doors on the front and back. You can roll them up or remove them entirely. This feature improves visibility and air circulation when you need quick access. The cover arrives as one piece for easier installation. Steel pipes interconnect simply according to the provided instructions. The design focuses on practical durability and straightforward assembly for your patio or driveway.

Setup and everyday use guide

Setting up this COBIZI carport involves assembling a steel frame and attaching a single-piece cover. The listing states that steel pipes interconnect easily, which simplifies the structural build. You receive all necessary instructions and hardware, including wind ropes and foot plates, to secure the unit. The cover snaps into place, reducing the time and energy required for installation. Once assembled, the 94.8-inch height provides standing room for most tasks. The 10x15 footprint offers 150 square feet of coverage, suitable for trucks, boats, or patio furniture.

Daily use focuses on protection and access. The upgraded thick fabric resists tearing, fading, and UV rays. It is designed to prevent rainwater accumulation, keeping your vehicle or equipment dry. The dark grey color blends with outdoor environments. For ventilation, the canopy features four innovative openings. These vents enhance air circulation and reduce condensation caused by moisture, helping to keep the interior cooler and drier.

Access is managed through removable double-zipper doors located at the front and back. You can roll them up or remove them entirely for quick entry and exit. This design improves visibility and allows for better airflow when the doors are open. The structure is intended for outdoor use, protecting cars, trucks, and boats from dust, wind, and snow. The galvanized steel frame ensures durability against corrosion and bending, maintaining stability during everyday use. You can adjust the setup based on your specific storage needs, utilizing the full width and length for optimal organization.

Before you buy this carport

This COBIZI model fits well if you need open-air shelter for vehicles or patio furniture. You should verify that your local zoning laws allow temporary structures on your property. The 94.8-inch height suits most standard trucks, but check clearance if you have lifted vehicles. You will need to anchor the unit securely. The listing includes wind ropes and foot plates, but you may need additional stakes for soft ground. Regular maintenance involves checking the galvanized steel for scratches and touching them up to prevent rust. The dark grey fabric resists UV rays, but inspect the double-zipper doors periodically for wear. This option sits alongside other portable shelters in our 1 guide. Unlike enclosed sheds, it offers ventilation through four openings. If you require full security or climate control, look at the locked storage units. For simple, affordable coverage, this heavy-duty frame is a practical choice.

Check before you buy

• Confirm local zoning permits temporary outdoor structures.
• Check vehicle height against the 94.8-inch clearance.
• Ensure you have ground stakes for anchoring.
• Verify the 10x15 footprint fits your space.
